The Anzac Day Bronze 3 day Tour:
(all prices are based on Per person on a twin sharing basis if your are unable to get flights that fit in with your tour schedule then we can arrange extra nights in a hotel that will accommodate for this The Anzac Tour is only once each year in April)

3 DAY ANZAC TOUR:
based on two sharing a twin bedded 3 star hotel room, for passengers who are traveling alone and don’t want to share a room (single supplement charge )
AT A GLANCE:
This short 3 day pilgrimage tour is for those who just want to do the Anzac 'pilgrimage' without the hassle of paying for additional tours. This is a 'straight to the point' Anzac Tour. If you’re planning to continue down the coast or travel into Anatolia then this tour is the lowest priced and most convenient for you. After all the Anzac services, we take you to Eceabat where you guys get the ferry crossing to Canakale and then continue down the coast....you don't need to hang around Canakalle. You'll be 'saving at least '$50 USD' - our guide will travel to Canakalle with you so he/she can show you where the coach offices are….from there onwards its real easy!

Tour starts Istanbul - ends Eceabat / Canakalle

Day 1: 23.04.04
Arriving in Istanbul > Getting to your hotel > check in
First part
All the hotels are 3 star.
Arrival Istanbul:
During the 22nd and 23rd (between 10.30am - 23.30 hrs) a GOTURKISH representative will be at meeting point 1 at the arrivals section at Istanbul Airport (arrival times of Turkish airways).The representative is available to greet you into Istanbul and assist you with directions to your hotel.
All bronze passengers will get a guide information sheet…Getting to your hotel from the airport (tell you in plain and simple English the ‘easiest and cheapest ways to your hotel’ / by airport coach, by taxi, by train).It’s easy and cheap getting to the hotels. Airport to hotel is only 20 - 25 min by taxi, 30 min by airport train. Cost approx. is only £5-£10 pp (depending on the size of the group. The cost is about £10 for single travelers traveling alone who take a taxi). Show your reservation voucher to the GoTurkish rep (GoTurkish stand at meeting point 1)

Second part
Special events on the 23rd of April; so try to get to Istanbul before the 23rd April and enjoy a night at the Cakil Nite Club.
At approx 20.00 we pick you up at your hotel 4 the Turkish - Anzac Gala night. They'll be a 3 course meal, 2 belly dancers, folklore dancers from different regions of Turkey, entertainers, live music - and first glass of local wine is free.
The Gala night starts with the national anthems of Australia, NZ and Turkey...then its pure entertainment. Starts at 20.30 till midnight.

The Gala Ball is at the Cakil 'The most famous show house in Istanbul'...No tickets at door, (the normal door price is $70 USD our special price is only £20 pp). Please come to enjoy the belly dancers, folklore dancers, the dervishes.
More Drinks are available - just ask the waiters.. DONT MISS IT...!!!

Day 2: 24.04.04
Istanbul > Bosphorous cruise > Gallipoli town > Gallipoli peninsula
07.00-09.30 Breakfasts at hotel – Be ready to leave your hotel at about 11am.
At approx.12.00 hr. we go on a fantastic Bosphorus Cruise ( one and a half hrs)
When the cruise ends we board our coaches for Gallipoli. As we depart from Istanbul we make one final stop at the big food hypermarket so you can buy refreshments / water etc at 'local rates'
We then start our drive to Gallipoli. There will be several stops on the way for refreshments and WC needs.

Arrival at Gallipoli a small town approx. 10km from the Gallipoli peninsula.
We allow you guys about one-one and half hours free time to have drink, grab some food (loads of kebab stalls and restaurants) we leave the town and go straight to the peninsula and grab front row spots for the dawn services. By about midnight there will be thousands of Anzac pilgrims at the peninsula.
You'll have your Gallipoli site plan with you - bring a torch and dress warm! it’s a good idea to bring a sleeping bag too! The dawn parade is at 05.30 am.

Day 3 - 25.04.04
TODAY IS ANZAC DAY GALLIPOLI > SERVICES > Eceabat
At 22 - 23.00 hr. our coaches will take you to the sight of the dawn parade, you’re now at Gallipoli, it's dark, cold just as it was 89 years ago ...
You'll attend the dawn service - between 05.00 - 05.30 ( listen to the times of the other services - these times override the times given here ) and ends at approx. 06.30 - 07.00. Australians can then go to Lone Pine (Australian service area… 12.00 - 12.40. you have at least 5 hours to wonder around and explore trenches and other memorial sites. New Zealanders are advised to head for Chanak Bair, 'again, take this opportunity to explore the trenches, memorial sights and the whole inspiring atmosphere at Gallipoli.
The services at Chunuk Bair start at 13.40 and ending at approx. 14.10 We will meet up at our rendezvous point at 17.00 hr and depart for Eceabat. Your Tour ends at Eceabat

Remember….
This itinerary is ideal for those who want to carry on down the Aegean and Med. coast on their own or in small groups of friends.
All you need to do is book your coach trip down to the coastal regions from Eceabat or Canakkale (OUR TIP: there's more coaches to most parts of Turkey departing from Canakalle - ferry crossing from Eceabat to Canakkale cost approx. 0.20 pence pp - ferry crossing every 30 min and lasts for 25 min.). You don't need to worry about accommodation for the night of the 25th April....just book your coach to the coastal areas and sleep on the coach...you’ll SAVE UPTO $30 per person by doing this.
