ITINERARY:
Day 1: 22.04.
Arriving 2 Istanbul > Getting to your hotel > check
in.
First part
All the hotels are 3 stars. Arrival Istanbul Airport.
During
the 22nd April (between 10.30am - 23.30 hrs) a GOTURKISH
representative will be at meeting point 1 at the arrivals
section at Istanbul Airport (arrival times of Turkish
airways).The representative is available to greet you
into Istanbul and assist you with directions to your hotel.
All bronze passengers will get a guide information sheet…Getting
to your hotel from the airport (tell you in plain and
simple English the ‘easiest and cheapest ways to
your hotel’ / by airport coach, by taxi, by train).
It’s easy and cheap getting to the hotels.
Airport to hotel is only 20 - 25 min by taxi, 30 min by
airport train. Cost approx. is only £5-£10
pp (depending on the size of the group. The cost is about
£10 for single travellers travelling alone who take
a taxi).

2: 23.04
Istanbul > Free day to visit the famous sites and sounds
of Istanbul
The hotels we use are no more than approx. 30min (2-5
minutes by tram) Walking distance to most of the famous
tourist sites like the Byzantium Hippodrome / Blue Mosque
/ Hagia Sophia / Topkapi Palace / Grand Bazaar -
Don’t forget …
Turkish Anzac Gala night at the famous Chakil restaurant
on the night of the 23rd of April:
At approx 20.00 we pick you up at your hotel 4 the Turkish
- Anzac Gala night. They'll be a 3 course meal, 2 belly
dancers, folklore dancers from different regions of Turkey,
entertainers, live music - and first glass of local wine
is free.
The Gala night starts with the national anthems of Australia,
NZ and Turkey...then its pure entertainment. Starts at
20.30hrs till midnight.
The Gala Ball is at the Chakil 'The most famous show house
in Istanbul'...No tickets at door, (the normal door price
is $70 USD our special price is only £20 pp) Please
come to enjoy the belly dancers, folklore dancers, the
dervishes. More Drinks are available - just ask the waiters...

3 - 24.04.
Istanbul > Bosphorous cruise > Gallipoli town
> Gallipoli peninsula
First part
07.00-09.30 Breakfasts at hotel – Be ready to
leave your hotel at about 11am.
At approx.12.00 hr. we go on a fantastic Bosphorus Cruise
(one and a half hrs)
When our cruise ends we board our coaches for Gallipoli.
Second part
Arrival in Gallipoli Town is approx. 20.00 hr. Gallipoli
town is a small town approx. 10km from the Gallipoli
peninsula. We allow you guys about one-one and half
hours free time to have a drink, grab some food (loads
of kebab stalls and restaurants)
Third
part
At approx. 22.00 hr. we leave the town and go straight
to the peninsula and grab front row spots for the dawn
services. By about midnight they’ll be thousands
of Anzac pilgrims at the peninsula.
You'll have your Gallipoli site plan with you - bring
a torch and dress warm it’s a good idea to bring
a sleeping bag too! The dawn parade is at 05.30 am.

4 - 25.04
TODAY IS ANZAC DAY GALLIPOLI > SERVICES > Eceabat
First part
At 22 - 23.00 hr. our coaches will
take you to the sight of the dawn parade or (OUR TIP:
grab the best seating spots at Gallipoli as soon as we
get there....take a sleeping bag / or warm floor blanket
/ bring an umbrella / small torch ) You’re now at
Gallipoli . It's dark, cold just as it was 89 years ago...
Second
part
You'll attend the dawn service - between 05.00 - 05.30
Australians then go to Lone Pine (Australian service area…
12.00 - 12.40. So, in reality you have at least 5 hours
to wonder around and explore trenches and other memorial
sites. New Zealanders are advised to head for Chunuk Bair,
'again, take this opportunity to explore the trenches,
memorial sights and whole atmosphere at Gallipoli. The
services at Chunuk Bair start at 13.40 and ending at approx.
14.10
Third
part
We will meet up at our rendezvous point at 15.00 hr and
depart for Ayvalik via Troy. According to the 3rd century
AD writer Philostratus, Troy was haunted by the ghosts
of the great heroes who had lived, fought and died there.
Troy is home to the many myths and legends of Classical
Greek and Pre-Hellenic Mythology. After Troy you go to
Ayvalik and check into our 3 star beach resort hotel.
Buffet dinner is available at our beach hotel.

5: 26.04 .04
Ayvalik - Pergamon - Kusadasi
After Breakfast we Transfer to Pergamon. Visit Pergamum,
the famous Acropolis and the Asclepion. The Acropolis
and Asclepion, Pergamum is famous for its temple of Zeus,
The Trojaneum and the theatre are still here, After we
transfer back to Kusadasi. Evening arrival to the Grand
Efe hotel (3 star sea side hotels) and Check in.

dinner at Kusadasi is included)
Day 6: 27.04.04
Kusadasi – Ephesus –
Temple of Artemis (one of the 7 wonders of the world)
After breakfast, we continue our sightseeing as we visit
the fantastic ruins of Ephesus, positively the best-preserved
classical city in the eastern Mediterranean, and among
the best places in the world to get a feel for what Roman
life must have been like! The evening is free to do as
you wish. Go for a stroll on grand efe’s private
beach Overnight-Kusadasi.

7: 28.04.04
Kusadasi – Pamukkale
Transfer to Pamukkale. We visit the famous calcium terraced
pools of Pamukkale, a natural phenomena and gift of Mother
Nature. Pamukkale was formed when warm, calcium rich mineral
water cascaded over the cliff edge, cooling and depositing
in the process, enjoy a very pleasant dip at the Pamukkale
Thermal, with its submerged fragments of fluted marble
columns in the centre of the Roman town of Hierapolis.

Day
8: 29.04.03
Pamukkale - Konya - Cappadocia
After breakfast, we drive inland to Konya. On the fringe
of Central Anatolia lies Konya, it is one of the oldest
and cities in the world, in Konya, we have lunch and visit
the Mevlana Museum, the former lodge of the Whirling Dervishes.
Leaving Konya, we drive onwards to Cappadocia. Along the
way, we have a chance to visit Overnight-Cappadocia region.

9: 30.04.04
Cappadocia – Cappadocia -
Cappadocia
Today we introduce you to the lunar landscape of Cappadocia
at Dervent Valley, then we head on to Zelve open air museum,
which is one of the earliest inhabited and latest abandoned
monastic settlements of Cappadocia, seeing the best examples
of the Pasabag fairy chimneys, we drive further to Avanos,
where we stop for a while or you can have lunch at a local
restaurant. Goreme open air museum is where we visit the
rock carved churches and colourful frescoes. We end the
day hiking up to the top of Uchisar castle, giving us
a breathtaking panorama. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

Cappadocia - Ankara
Breakfast Transfer to Ankara and visit the Mausoleum of

Free morning, in the afternoon we drive back 2 Istanbul
(5-6hrs) Check into our 3 star hotels, free evening in
